Part 1
1. Describe the mood of the images. What is the expression on the faces of the models? What is their posture?
The mood in these images are serious, stress, mad, and sad. The faces look like "look what you have done" face. The posture even shows "look what have you done," the lady with the blue top is not making eye contact with the camera* and the other lady's head is tilted back like "seriously why are you doing that."
2. Think about technique. How do these images were created? Oil paint? Photoshop?
I think these images were created in photoshop or in some app/websites (like we did in the deepart website) because the "strokes" in the images do look a little fake to be actual oil paint or something else.
3.Ask yourself what role color plays in the images? Does it accentuate the mood?
The colors definitely plays role. Especially the red in the background because in this case the red seems to show madness.
4.Finally, what do you think the artist intended to convey with these images" What response was he/she attempting to evoke? Do you think the effort was successful?
I think the artist were trying to show how the ladies were feeling. The artist is successful if they were trying show ladies that they are mad, stressed, or serious.
Part 2
2. Think about technique. How do these images were created? Oil paint? Photoshop?
In these images the the people were actual people being painted on. She wanted the images to be more 3D and not 2D. Also she blurred the lines in photoshop to add more of the softness in the images.
4.Finally, what do you think the artist intended to convey with these images" What response was he/she attempting to evoke? Do you think the effort was successful?
When I found out it was actual people being painted on, the artist definitely put great effort into these images because painting people take a lot of time.
